Melmac mushroom, Terrence McKenna, an activist and writer, was the first person to tell the world about the plant that would become known as “Penis Envy.” People say that McKenna got spore samples from an interesting psilocybe in the Amazon Rainforest.

In the future, other mycologists grew and spread these germs. The wild penis envy spores’ genes were able to be fixed in a lab after a few samples were sent home. Rich Gee, whose real name is Richard Guitierrez, is credited with making the Penis Envy type we know today. Since then, trippy fans all over the world have loved it.

In the 1980s, a company called Homestead started messing with the original genes of Penis Envy mushrooms. According to the story, they finally made a variation that was so different that they decided to call it Melmac.

Melmac mushrooms look different from the original Penis Envy mushrooms because their stems are bent and their caps are wavy. “Gnarly” is a good word to use to describe this melmac mushroom.

Most likely, Homestead named the strain after the show’s main character, Alf, who lived on a made-up world. This version was sold as a spore print by Homestead until the company went out of business in the 1980s.

Melmac mushroom, are becoming more famous again, just like many of the “OG” strains of mushrooms, because of the current psychedelic revolution.

Most of what determines how strong psilocybe mushrooms are is how they grow. Still, it’s possible that some strains and species consistently make more psilocybin than others, but there hasn’t been a lot of study on this yet.

Penis Envy mushrooms are always among the most powerful Psilocybe cubensis kinds. Yet, the Malmec mushroom strain hasn’t been put through many tests or compared to other strains.

What Do Melmac Mushroom spores Feel Like

Melmac’s effects are mostly the same as those of other Psilocybe cubensis types, which tend to make the user’s mood stronger at the time. In the right setting, it makes people feel happy, more empathetic, and more linked to nature.

Melmac shrooms can make people feel different things depending on the amount they take, their unique body chemistry, how used they are to psychedelics, how they think, and where they are.

People who take a full psychoactive dose of Melmac shrooms say they have strong visual and auditory hallucinations with bright colors, patterns, distorted sounds, and a different sense of time. These effects can last up to six hours.

When a shroom trip goes wrong, it can cause sickness, vomiting, anxiety, panic attacks, and bad decisions that can lead to crashes and injuries.

Melmac mushroom strain is a psilocybin mushroom, so it has the same effects as any other psilocybin fungus.
